INTRODUCTION:
Besstel Community Social Club was formed by George Bessa-Simons as a social society offspring of Besstel Foundation in Ghana. The idea is to bring together the less privileged and residents in the community at large as a broad united entity.
ENDORSEMENT:
With approval from the CEO of the Foundation, Stella Agyeman and Life patron Peter Hasler the Club was inaugurated in Kasoa on the 29th May 2022. Mrs Stella Agyeman was accompanied by Christabel Osei Tulley to grace the occasion.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
The aims and objectives of the Club is to foster mutual respect, love and good brotherly relationships for members as well as to support the less fortunate ones in the community.
ACTIVITIES:
With registered members of thirty five and still counting, the Club meets once in a month. The Club has opened its Bank account with the Societe General and members willingly pay their monthly dues of 5.00 ghana cedis regularly as a support base.
FELLOWSHIP:
The Club has selected a ten member team to form a prayer team. This group meet once a week to fellowship and pray for the entire Foundation both in Ghana and abroad.
DONATIONS:
The Club, for the past months have been receiving gifts and donations from a sponsor Nana Akua in UK who send monthly donations to the kasua community group as part of her tithe to support the community with food parcels. These donations are shared to members as a relief and also to motivate them morally.
